Thank you for your thoughtful review, Marc. I read your review of a more general PM book and was curious of whether you perceived a difference in value between my book and the other one as it addressed EM and the needs of emergency managers.
Andrew, I enjoyed your book and think it is more directly beneficial to Emergency Managers as it directly applies Project Management concepts to Emergency Management practices. For the EMs who can (or already have) invest the time and effort to develop the technical PM skills your book discusses, your book is the way to go. For those of us who are short on time or unfamiliar with PM concepts but want to explore PM tools, I feel the macro-level tools and concepts discussed in "Project Management for the Unofficial Project Management" would be a better place to start. So, I think your book is extremely valuable for EMs and a good destination goal for EMs perusing PM skills, the other book is a good place to start the journey.
